RAM Mount Ball Adapter

The RAM Mount Marine Electronics Ball Adapter (RAM-D-115BU) is a powder coated marine grade aluminum 6.25" x 2" rectangle plate with a 2.25" D size rubber ball. It is designed as a D size ball adapter for 9"–12" fishfinder gimbal brackets, letting you connect a gimbal-mount fishfinder to the RAM D size ball and socket system. The plate includes multiple pre-drilled hole locations to match a wide range of fishfinder mounting footprints. In some applications, additional holes may need to be drilled for a proper fit. Rated for up to 6 lbs. in standard use and 5 lbs. in heavy-duty use. Lifetime warranty.

What It Does on the Water

The RAM-D-115BU bridges the gap between a fishfinder with a gimbal bracket mounting footprint and the RAM D size ball system. Bolt the plate to the back of your fishfinder using the pre-drilled holes, then connect the 2.25" D size ball to a D size double socket arm and a D size base to complete the mount. The 6.25" x 2" plate covers the footprint of most 9"–12" fishfinder gimbal brackets. For a wider universal plate, see the 11" x 3" Universal Electronics Base (RAM-D-111BU).
