General Pricing & Value Questions

How much does professional rigging cost?

Rigging costs vary based on the type of vehicle or structure, the equipment being installed, and the complexity of the setup. Boat rigging, ice house rigging, and motorsports electronics installations are all priced based on labor time and required components. Many common services have published pricing, while larger or custom projects are quoted individually to ensure accuracy.

What affects the cost of a rigging project?

The biggest factors are the type of platform, existing equipment, wiring complexity, mounting requirements, and power needs. Larger systems, networked electronics, and custom mounts take more time to install properly. Planning and clean installation are what prevent problems later.

Is professional rigging worth the cost?

Yes, especially for modern electronics. Poor rigging often leads to interference, voltage issues, unreliable performance, and shortened equipment life. Professional rigging protects your investment and ensures everything works together as intended.

Do you offer package pricing?

Yes. In many cases, purchasing equipment and installation together simplifies the process and can reduce overall cost. Ask about bundled options when discussing your project.

Scheduling & Timing Questions

How far in advance should I schedule rigging?

We recommend reaching out at least two weeks before you want to drop off your boat, ice house, or vehicle. This allows time to review the project, plan the installation, and order any necessary parts before work begins.

How long does rigging usually take?

Most rigging projects are completed in two to three days once installation begins. Many customers drop off their boats or ice houses on Sunday and pick them up later in the week. Planning and parts ordering typically happen before drop-off to keep installation time efficient.

Is there a busy season?

Yes. Spring and early summer are busy for boat rigging, while late fall and early winter are busy for ice house and motorsports setups. Booking early helps secure preferred timelines.

Process & What to Expect

What’s included in professional rigging?

Professional rigging includes proper planning, clean wiring, secure mounting, power management, system integration, and testing. Equipment is configured and verified before pickup so it is ready to use.

Do I need to bring everything with me?

If you already own equipment, bring it with you or let us know what you have. If equipment still needs to be selected, we can help confirm compatibility before installation.

Do I need to be present during the install?

No. Most customers drop off their boat, ice house, or vehicle and pick it up once installation is complete. We will communicate if questions come up during the process.

Boat & Ice House Specific Questions

Can you move electronics between my boat and ice house?

Yes. We frequently install and remove electronics setups between boats and ice houses in the spring and fall. This allows you to use the same electronics year-round without needing duplicate systems.

Do you install LiveScope in ice houses?

Can LiveScope be displayed on TVs inside an ice house?
