The Power-Pole Charge is a 500-watt marine power manager that replaces four separate devices with one compact unit. It functions as a traditional battery charger, a bi-directional power manager, a charge-on-the-run system, and an emergency start system. At 10.62 x 7.95 x 2.78 inches and under 9 pounds, it installs with four screws and integrates with your existing shore power and alternator system without complex splicing.

What It Does on the Boat

The Charge delivers up to 40 amps to your cranking battery and up to 25 amps to your trolling batteries simultaneously. It works with all battery types including lithium, lead acid, AGM, GEL, and TPPL, and automatically re-balances and maintains battery health in real time. You can monitor battery voltage and status through the C-Monster app on iOS or Android, or through a compatible Garmin, Lowrance, Simrad, or Mercury Vessel View display using the Power-Pole Gateway.

The unit prioritizes charging based on which batteries need it most, and you can override that priority through the app or your MFD. An integrated heatsink cooling system and temperature sensors in the wiring sheath protect the unit in demanding conditions. The IP65-rated case handles water exposure without issue.

Compatible Displays

MFD integration requires the Power-Pole Gateway, sold separately. Compatible displays include:

  • Garmin: ECHOMAP Ultra, ECHOMAP UHD/UHD2, GPSMAP 8600, GPSMAP x2, GPSMAP x3
  • Lowrance: HDS Live, HDS Carbon, Elite Ti2
  • Simrad: NSS Evo3, NSO Evo3, NSO Evo2, GO series, IDS, 2020 and newer models
  • Mercury Vessel View: 903, 703, 502
