Minn Kota Ultrex Trolling Motor

The Minn Kota Ultrex is a cable-steer bow-mount trolling motor built around Power Steering and Spot-Lock GPS. Power Steering makes the foot pedal feel direct and responsive, more like steering a boat than operating a trolling motor. Spot-Lock anchors the boat on a precise GPS point so you can focus on fishing. The Mono-Arm mount and Lift-Assist make getting the motor in and out of the water easier than a standard bracket. Available in 24V and 36V configurations across 45-inch, 52-inch, and 60-inch shaft lengths, with optional Dual Spectrum CHIRP or MEGA Down Imaging sonar built into the composite shaft.

What It Does on the Water

The cable-steer system with Power Steering gives you precise, intuitive control at the foot pedal. Spot-Lock Jog moves your locked position in small increments without picking up and repositioning. Drift Mode controls your drift path with GPS. AutoPilot holds a heading without constant foot pedal input. The composite shaft carries sonar signal from the built-in transducer to your compatible Humminbird unit without a separate cable.

Lift-Assist makes deploying and stowing the motor easier on the back, especially on longer shaft models. Digital Maximizer draws only the power the motor needs at any given speed, extending battery life. The Weedless Wedge 2 propeller sheds weeds without losing thrust. Control the motor from the Micro Remote foot pedal, the wireless remote, or the One-Boat Network app on your phone.
