The Lowrance Recon is a bow-mount trolling motor built for anglers who want precise positioning control and full integration with their Lowrance display. The FreeSteer joystick remote gives you 8-direction diagonal jog capability, so you can move your anchor position in almost any direction without re-anchoring the boat. An HDI nosecone transducer is included for CHIRP and DownScan sonar from the motor head, and the nosecone is plug-and-play upgradeable to Active Imaging 3-in-1. Available in 48, 54, 60, and 72-inch shaft lengths.

What It Does on the Water

The FreeSteer remote unlocks diagonal jogs in 8 directions, giving you anchor position control that no standard foot pedal can match. Pair it with the included wireless foot pedal, which features a detachable and programmable lower keypad and 40 degrees of heel-toe travel, and you have full control from anywhere on the boat. Steering precision is 1 degree, which is class-leading for bow-mount motors at this price point.

The HDI nosecone delivers CHIRP and DownScan sonar from the motor head without a separate transducer installation. When you're ready to upgrade, the nosecone swaps to Active Imaging 3-in-1 for CHIRP, SideScan, and DownScan. The brushless motor runs near-silent at 24V or 36V and emits zero electromagnetic interference, keeping your sonar views clean. The carbon-fiber infused composite shaft carries a lifetime warranty.
