Garmin Striker Cast GPS
The Striker Cast GPS is a castable sonar unit that pairs with your phone. You cast it out, it streams sonar back to the free Garmin app on your Apple or Android device, and you can see fish and structure in real time up to 200 feet away. It also has built-in GPS so you can build Quickdraw contour maps as you fish. Good for kayaks, canoes, docks, ice fishing, or anywhere you want sonar without mounting a full unit on a boat.
What It Does on the Water
The Cast GPS runs at 260/455 kHz and reads down to 150 feet. It shows fish targets, water temperature, and bottom structure on your phone screen. The ice fishing flasher mode works well for hard water fishing. Built-in GPS lets you drop waypoints and record Quickdraw contours with 1-foot detail, and you can share those maps or pull from the Quickdraw Community. Battery runs 10-plus hours on a charge, and the tether is 20 feet so you can retrieve it after each cast.
This is not a replacement for a mounted fishfinder on a serious walleye or bass boat. It's a tool for situations where you don't have a sonar unit, or you want to check a spot before you move the boat. Works well for shore fishing, kayak fishing, and scouting new water.
Professional Installation at Ben's Marine
No installation needed for the Cast GPS itself, but if you're building out a kayak or small boat setup and want a mounted unit alongside it, we can help with that too.
