Garmin Striker 4 Portable Fishfinder Bundle

The Striker 4 Portable Bundle is the same 3.5-inch CHIRP fishfinder as the standard Striker 4, but it comes with everything you need to use it without a boat. The carrying case holds the unit, the rechargeable battery, and the transducer. The suction cup mount lets you stick the transducer to the ice or drop it over the side of a kayak. If you fish from a canoe, a kayak, or a bucket on the ice, this is a complete setup out of the box.

What It Does on the Water

CHIRP sonar on the 77/200 kHz dual-beam transducer gives you solid fish and bottom separation. The built-in flasher mode is the main reason most people buy the portable bundle. Drop the transducer through a hole, switch to flasher mode, and you can watch your jig and see fish moving in real time. The GPS lets you mark spots and navigate back to them, which matters more than people think when you're out on a big frozen lake and everything looks the same.

The rechargeable battery runs the unit all day. The foam float keeps the transducer from sinking if you drop it. The carrying case keeps everything organized between trips. It's a well-thought-out kit for the price.
