The LiveScope XR is the deep-water version of Garmin's live sonar lineup. Where the standard LiveScope Plus tops out at 200 feet, the XR reaches 500 feet in freshwater and 350 feet in saltwater. It uses the LVS62 transducer and the GLS 10 sonar black box, and supports Forward, Down, and Perspective modes. If you fish deep structure, open water, or coastal environments where you need more range, this is the system.

What It Does on the Water

Forward mode lets you scout ahead of the boat in real time at extended range. Down mode shows a live view directly beneath the boat. Perspective mode gives you a view from above looking down, showing fish and structure in relation to your boat's position. The Reverse Range Offset feature uses more of the screen to display targets at depth, and Compress Range keeps close targets visible while you're watching deeper water at the same time.

Built-in stabilization keeps the sonar image steady in rough conditions. Seven vivid color palette options let you dial in contrast and clarity for your conditions. Requires a compatible Garmin chartplotter with a Garmin Marine Network port, sold separately.

Professional Installation at Ben's Marine

LiveScope XR installation involves mounting the GLS 10 black box, running the transducer cable, connecting to your Garmin Marine Network, and configuring the system on your chartplotter. Our technicians handle the complete install.

Ben's Marine can handle:

  • GLS 10 black box mounting and wiring
  • LVS62 transducer installation on trolling motor, shaft, or perspective mount
  • Garmin Marine Network connection to your chartplotter
  • Power wiring and cable management
  • On-screen setup and calibration
