Garmin GT36-TM and GT8HW-IH Transducer Bundle

This bundle pairs the GT36-TM transom mount transducer with the GT8HW-IH in-hull transducer, connected via the included Y-cable. The GT36-TM handles UHD ClearVü and UHD SideVü scanning sonar from outside the hull. The GT8HW-IH handles high wide CHIRP traditional sonar from inside the hull. Built for fiberglass hull boats with a very flat deadrise of 0° to 6°. If your boat has more deadrise than that, look at the GT15M-IH bundle instead.

What It Does on the Water

The GT36-TM gives you UHD ClearVü and UHD SideVü at 455 kHz, 800 kHz, and 1,000 kHz. ClearVü reaches 400 feet below the boat. SideVü covers up to 500 feet per side with 20% more range at 1,000 kHz than previous SideVü transducers. The GT8HW-IH adds high wide CHIRP traditional sonar through the hull, which holds a clean signal at speed on flat-bottomed boats without the turbulence issues of a transom-mounted element.

Both transducers run through a single Y-cable to your Garmin display. Built-in temperature sensor on the GT36-TM.

Professional Installation at Ben's Marine

The GT8HW-IH in-hull placement is critical on flat-bottomed boats. The transducer needs to go in a spot with solid fiberglass and no air pockets. We've done enough of these to know where to put it and where not to.
