Getting a bow mount bolted down through a finished deck is not always straightforward. Tight compartments, fiberglass foam cores, and limited access underneath make it easy to end up with a mount that flexes or works loose over time. The Beatdown Under Deck Installation Tool solves that. It goes below the deck and acts as a heavy-duty backing plate, spreading the load across a wider surface area so the deck material does not compress, crack, or allow movement at the base.

What It Does on the Water

The tool sandwiches the deck between your bow mount or mounting plate above and the underdeck plate below. That clamping action is what keeps the mount rigid when you are running across choppy water or reaching out to adjust a screen at height. Without it, the bolt pulls against a small contact area and the deck can flex enough to let the whole mount shift over time. Works with all Beatdown Outdoors bow mounts and is sized for installations where access underneath the deck is tight.
