What It Does on the Ice

The built-in flasher gives you the real-time sonar view ice anglers rely on, and the full chartplotter display lets you combine sonar, flasher, and map on one screen with custom page layouts. Navionics+ maps with detailed contours on 23,000+ US lakes help you find structure and navigate between holes with precision.

The Dual Beam-IF transducer drops through the hole with a foam float to hold it in position. The glove-friendly keyed interface is designed for cold-weather use. Built-in Wi-Fi connects to the ActiveCaptain app for software updates. The rechargeable SLA battery and charger are included so you're ready to fish without sourcing additional gear.

For open water, the 53cv also supports ClearVü scanning sonar with a compatible transducer (sold separately).
