The Ram Mount Universal D Size Ball Mount with Short Arm (RAM-D-115-C) is built for 9" to 12" fishfinders and chartplotters that need a heavier-duty hold than a standard 1.5" ball setup. It pairs a 2.25" D size ball base with a short arm and a 6.25" x 2" marine electronics plate with pre-drilled holes that are a direct fit for 9" to 12" fishfinder gimbal brackets. Powder coated marine grade aluminum, rated for up to 10 pounds, with an overall length of 7.325".

What It Does on the Water

The RAM-D-115-C steps up to a 2.25" D size rubber ball for a stronger, more secure hold on larger displays. The short arm keeps the display close to the mounting surface, which works well on console tops and dash panels where you want the unit tight without a lot of reach. The 6.25" x 2" plate is a direct fit for 9" to 12" fishfinder gimbal brackets, including units like the Lowrance HDS-9 Gen2 Touch and Garmin GPSMAP 7407.
