Garmin GPSMAP 1543xsv
The GPSMAP 1543xsv is Garmin's ultrawide chartplotter, built for anglers and boaters who want more screen real estate without going to a traditional large-format display. The 15-inch ultrawide IPS panel is 74% wider than a standard 9-inch chartplotter, giving you a split-screen setup that works: charts on one side, sonar on the other, both readable at a glance. Edge-to-edge glass, minimal trim borders, and a form factor that fits helm layouts where a standard display won't.
No transducer included. Transducers sold separately.
What It Does on the Water
The 1543xsv has built-in ClearVu and SideVu scanning sonar, 1 kW of sonar power, and full compatibility with LiveScope and Panoptix. Navionics+ charts with Auto Guidance+ are preloaded on the included microSD card for US and coastal Canada waters. The ultrawide split-screen lets you run two full views side by side without squinting at a cramped layout.
The display reads well with polarized sunglasses, handles bail, flush, or flat mounting, and connects to your autopilot, radar, cameras, and other devices through the Garmin Marine Network. Bluetooth, ANT, and Wi-Fi are all built in.
Professional Installation at Ben's Marine
